Astel Corporation was established in 1980 and is located in the heart of the media district in Tokyo, Japan. We are the appointed Sony service agent for broadcasting products that have been manufactured by Sony Corporation since 1980. Having the support and recognition of Sony has enabled us to build an effective repair and service procedure to accommodate the needs of customers who require broadcast technical support. Our maintenance/repair organization has a service department of 5,500sq. ft. with fully trained engineers who have many years experience with the broadcast equipment.
In recent years, operation patterns of broadcast stations are significantly transforming in various ways because of diversification in styles of broadcasting.
Should any types of fault in systems occur at the site of broadcast operation, capability to cope with such fault quickly and appropriately is strongly required for prevention/minimization of trouble in the broadcast operation. As well as servicing and repairing Broadcast equipment such as Broadcast Monitors, HD VTR, Digital Betacam, SX and Betacam SP, DV, D2 VTRs and even 1-inch video tape recorders at the our Repair/Maintenance facilities.
We are also sending our engineers to major Broadcast stations and CS/BS Satellite Broadcast stations in Tokyo area as well. These engineers are permanently stationed at the broadcasting stations 7 days a week providing support for secure operation of various types of broadcast equipment. We have already started an organization to respond to a multitude of needs for digital broadcasting system, offering total support to daily activities in broadcasting stations.
And our System Solutions Department, for development of services for system design such as studio-sub systems in TV broadcast stations. Incorporating this activity, We now developing a total Solution Service Capability in order to furnish total support for broadcast operations ranging from System Design to maintenance services. In order to expand our business to international market, We started a trading?business in 1995. In 2001, We established an import & export company in Sao Paulo Brazil started exporting pharmaceutical ingredients such as Agaricus and health and wellness products; Propolis as well, and also semi-precious stones; Tourmaline to Japan. Since then, We have had the opportunity to develop a relationship with people in Brazil.
We guided the drama production technology in the broadcasting station as a expert of TV program production. And also guided broadcasting station program production technology as a trainer of International Cooperation.
It is acknowledged in the reflection theory by which guidance and common sense by which the experience of many years is made the best use of are overturned. Moreover, there are results of fifteen years or more as a lecturer of the non-professional people for video shooting, editing, digital camera and personal computer course which cooperated with Tokyo, Oomiya City, Yokohama City and Yokohama City cultural Promoting Foundation sponsors.
